What is a mailing list? A mailing list is strictly speaking just some software. In this software is a long list of email addresses of people who are members of the list. When you send a mail to the email address of the list (so to the software) the software will take care of sending this mail to everyone who is a member of the list (so to yourself as well!). In this way huge amounts of people can discuss with each other with no need to know each other’s emails. How does the mailing list work? Everyone who is interested in the activities of Anglia in Europe can subscribe to the mailing list. Do this by sending an empty email to:

What are the basic possibilities? TO SEND to the list: Would you like to send a message to all members of the mailing list? Enter in the address bar of your email program:

Then everyone gets your message. Every message will be checked on viruses by the software and first an administrator will give it an extra check as well. You can: - Make comments,
- Ask questions,
- Place problems,
- React to questions and remarks,
- Point out useful sites,
- Distribute lesson materials, and so on.
If you ask a question, the chance will be very realistic that a colleague will reply.
TO REPLY to an email from the list: When you as a receiver replies to such a message you can do that in two ways:
1. Use the key ‘Reply’ in your default bar: the message will be sent ONLY to the maker of this message and NOT to all members. 2. With the key ‘Reply to All’ everyone can read your reaction. Sometimes it is useful to do this option, as others who may encounter the same problems can use your information as well. But use this sparingly. Would you like to unsubscribe from the mailing list? Send an empty email to:

Mind that you don’t get any emails anymore from colleagues of the Network and you aren’t automatically informed anymore on the current affairs from Anglia Europe. Would you like to subscribe again? Send an empty email to:
