Liz in Amsterdam - Chinese to Maastricht - Registration before 11 October
Anglia Chief Examiner Liz Bangs Jones will be travelling to Amsterdam today where she will attend the presentations of Amsterdam Summer Twinning in Artis Library. Her son Michael has taken part in both Utrecht and Amsterdam programmes and had a very good time getting to know new international friends, all in English.
Next week we will have 3 Summer Programmes, in Maastricht, Middelburg and Roosendaal, the busiest week so far. In Maastricht focus will be on international attraction, as a group of Chinese students wants to come to the Netherlands in August 2011. And Maastricht wants to host them, so the pupils will make presentations that they will present on Skype to China on Friday.
Next Examination date is Thursday 25 November, please register before Monday 11 October.

Nearly double number of pupils will take part in Anglia Summer Twinning at Utrecht University College next week.
They will twin with 50 pupils in Prishtina Kosovo, using Skype and email.
Monday 23 August will be the start of Summer Twinning in Amsterdam and Groningen.
On 30 August we will start in Maastricht, Middelburg, Roosendaal and Etten-Leur.
Registration is possible until 20 August.
On Saturday 21 August Anglia will organize a day trip to Brussels, by coach.
Register on website before Wednesday 18 August lunchtime.
Today Anglia Europe meets Anglia China/Taiwan in London to discuss summer 2011 and to prepare the autumn 2010 visit to China and Taiwan for Cool! Teacher Training and Anglia Introduction Meetings in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei.

Barcelona Summer Twinning evaluation turned out to be very positive, both Spanish and Dutch students gave very high scores. We will definitely put it on the programme again for next year.
